Birds Fair
The Birds Fair is one of the oldest and most characteristic events in Colle and usually takes place at the end of September. Originally a historic livestock fair – also described by writer Romano Bilenchi – it was traditionally held on 21 September in the large town square, built at the end of the 19th century to host fairs and major events.
In the past, the square would fill from dawn with farmers, sharecroppers and traders from the surrounding countryside. Even today, the fair brings that world back to life: with stands from agricultural producers and artisans, vintage machinery, animals and many activities.
There are also areas dedicated to children, with traditional wooden games, entertainment and performances, as well as folk music and the traditional Bruscello, a historic form of Tuscan theatre that tells the stories of the community.
Bada che Gota
The Festa della Gota Cotta returns for its fourth edition!
The festival celebrates Gota Cotta, a typical cured meat made from pork cheek, boiled and seasoned with spices, and returns on Sunday, 4 October 2026.
During the event dedicated to one of Colle di Val d’Elsa’s gastronomic specialities, local restaurateurs, chefs and producers present creative dishes and traditional recipes, accompanied by wines from local wineries, craft beers and sweets from Colle’s pastry shops.
The atmosphere is made even more lively by live music, DJ sets, performances and activities for children.
Colluppolo
From 10 to 14 June, the third edition of Colluppolo returns!
The Colligian Beer Festival brings together craft beer, good food and fun, with a selection of beers to discover, street food and a lively atmosphere that accompanies every moment.
Bringing the evenings to life will be live music with nationally and locally renowned guests, together with activities and spaces designed also for families and groups of friends.
Five days dedicated to conviviality, music and, of course, craft beer.
La Notte Bianca
La Notte Bianca di Colle di Val d’Elsa will take place this year on 26 June: symbolically marking the beginning of the town’s summer season, which once again in 2026 offers a calendar full of opportunities.
During la Notte Bianca, shops, galleries and venues remain open until late at night, offering opportunities for shopping, music in the streets and cultural experiences. An event that draws visitors from across the Valdelsa area to experience the town in a festive and engaging atmosphere.
La Notte Gialla
The tenth edition of La Notte Gialla arrives on Saturday, 5 September!
For the past ten years, La Notte Gialla has brought Colle Bassa’s historic centre to life and bids farewell to summer with concerts, DJ sets, dance performances and continuous entertainment, alternating throughout the evening and involving national and local artists, cultural associations, dance schools and many local organisations.
It is an event designed for everyone, adults and children alike, colouring Colle in yellow and transforming it into a large open-air stage.
Il Capodanno della Valdelsa
From 29 to 31 December, the fourth edition of Il Capodanno della Valdelsa returns!
In Piazza Arnolfo, the heart of Colle di Val d’Elsa, three evenings of music, live performances and entertainment transform the town centre into a large festive space, accompanying and closing the year together.
A programme designed for all ages, with live performances, moments of sharing, food stands and gastronomic offerings to enjoy each evening in a spirit of taste and conviviality.
An event that brings the Valdelsa area together in the spirit of celebration, bidding farewell to the closing year and welcoming the new one.
